About
Making a difference - One mile at a time, one step at a time.
Tri 4 Number 1, T4N1 for short, is a nonprofit organization with a mission to tell the stories of heroes through sport and ultra endurance events. The “Tri” is inspired by “triathlon.” By taking on major athletic challenges that reflect the significant obstacles our heroes face, we aim to raise awareness for the number one cause that is important to those heroes. Our latest event, Project Campbell’s Call, is a transcontinental run that honors the wishes of Chris Campbell, a fallen U.S. Navy SEAL, and benefits the Wounded Warrior Project®.

T4N1 Penguin
Our penguin mascot symbolizes how we need teamwork and social connection to survive. In the wild, penguins band together to survive the extremely harsh cold weather in their natural habitats. The penguins in the wild teach us that enduring suffering through community support and togetherness always helps you overcome and be victorious at the end of the journey. Penguin “wears his heart on his sleeve” just like the volunteers of T4N1. The penguin protects causes that are important to the T4N1 mission with his heart displayed proudly.
