Help us raise $306,700 in 42 days.
Nels Matson of Tri 4 Number 1 is on his way to break the world record for the fastest known time in a transcontinental run across the United States — and it’s all to help honor the legacy of a fallen Navy SEAL Chris Campbell, who’s last wish was for 100,000 people to donate to Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), a veteran services organization that provides life-saving services and programs to wounded service members.
Our impact begins with the continued kindness of individuals just like YOU. Tri 4 Number 1 in hosting Project Campbell’s Call, an event in which Nels will run in Chris’s honor and support WWP® by completing a 3,067 mile-run from California to New York in less than 42 days, six hours, and 30 minutes.
With the cross-country trek starting September 8, 2024 and ending October 20, 2024, Project Campbell’s Call aims to raise $306,700 ($100 per mile) to support WWP warriors and their families. Just as every step counts in Nels’s journey, every dollar counts toward making sure Chris is never forgotten.
Help us meet our goals, honor Chris’s legacy and donate to WWP® today.

About Tri 4 Number 1
T4N1 is a nonprofit organization that strives to elevate the stories of heroes through sport and ultra endurance events. The “Tri” is inspired by “triathlon;” these major athletic trials reflect the obstacles our heroes face and seek inspiration from their bravery, resilience, and perseverance. By taking on ultra endurance challenges we aim to raise awareness for the number one cause that is important to those heroes. Our latest event, Project Campbell’s Call, is a transcontinental run that honors the wishes of Chris Campbell and benefits the WWP®.
About Wounded Warrior Project®
Since 2003, WWP has been transforming the way injured veterans are empowered, employed, and engaged in our communities. Donations from this effort will provide lifesaving programs in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care ensuring warriors never pay a penny for these services. In addition, working towards this effort in Chris’s memory is an incredible way to honor a young man who gave so much to his country.
